The Strike Industries Cobra billet aluminum trigger guard for AR-15 rifles brings both form and function to your build. Machined from aircraft-grade aluminum, this isn't just a cosmetic upgrade—it's a thoughtfully designed control component that improves trigger discipline and reload speed. Whether you're building a precision rifle, a duty gun, or a competition setup, the Cobra gives you a refined alternative to polymer and stamped-steel guards while adding practical features that matter in the field or at the range.

The signature "hood" serves as a hard index point for your trigger finger, helping you maintain consistent trigger control and safe finger placement even when moving fast or under stress. That same hood also acts as an optimal rest point between shots, letting you re-engage the trigger smoothly without fumbling. The Fang feature—borrowed from Strike Industries' polymer design—guides the magazine during reloads, making magazine changes faster and more reliable when every second counts.

Installation is straightforward: the Cobra comes with four M3 hex screws pre-coated with Loctite Threadlocker Blue 242 to prevent loosening during use. Torque the screws to no more than 10 in-lbs, and you're done. At home in a tactical build, a hunting rifle, or a run-and-gun competition gun, the Cobra trigger guard is a no-regrets upgrade from stock.

Is the Cobra trigger guard compatible with all AR-15 rifles?

Yes, the Cobra is designed to fit standard AR-15 lower receivers. It uses the same M3 screw mounting as factory guards.

What's the purpose of the "hood" feature?

The hood gives your trigger finger a solid index point for safety and consistent trigger control. It also provides a natural resting position between shots, allowing you to quickly re-engage the trigger without losing your grip or sight picture.

What's included in the box?

You get the Cobra aluminum trigger guard, four M3 hex screws with pre-applied threadlocker, and a warning card. No special tools beyond a hex key are needed for installation.

How tight should the screws be?

Torque the M3 screws to a maximum of 10 in-lbs (1.13 Nm). The screws come pre-coated with Loctite 242 to prevent loosening during shooting or handling.
