Strike Industries
The Strike Industries AR-15 dust cover in black polymer is a practical upgrade for any modern rifle platform. If you run an AR that sees regular use—whether at the range, in the field, or in a duty role—you know how quickly dust and debris can foul your receiver. This replacement dust cover gives you a more durable alternative to standard mil-spec covers, built from high-density polymer that stands up to hard use without the brittleness of cheaper plastics.
What sets this cover apart is the adjustable detent set screw. Over time, your receiver rails wear, and dust covers can become loose or too tight. Rather than swapping it out, you can fine-tune the opening and closing tension yourself using a small flathead screwdriver. Just depress the ball detent and dial in the right amount of resistance—it's a small feature that keeps your rifle working the way you want it without guesswork or parts bin rummaging.
Strike Industries designed this cover to be swapped in place of your factory unit, giving your AR a cleaner look while adding real functional value. The black polymer finish matches modern furniture and keeps your receiver protected when the cover is closed. It's one of those upgrades that doesn't draw attention but makes you appreciate the attention to detail every time you use your rifle.

| Color | Black |
| Compatible Platform | AR-15 |
Yes, this is a direct replacement for standard AR-15 dust covers and works with mil-spec receiver notches.
Use a small flathead screwdriver to depress the ball detent inside the cover, then turn the set screw to increase or decrease the opening and closing tension. Adjust until the cover operates smoothly without being too loose or too tight.
As your receiver rails wear over time, the fit between the dust cover and receiver can become loose or tight. The adjustable detent lets you compensate for this wear and keep your cover functioning properly without replacing it.
This high-density polymer cover is more durable than traditional dust covers and includes the adjustable detent feature for improved functionality and longer service life.
