Strike Industries
The Strike Industries AR forward assist is a lightweight performance upgrade for shooters who want to cut weight without sacrificing functionality on their AR-15 or M16. Built with an aluminum plunger and tool steel pawl, this flat dark earth anodized part delivers the reliability you expect from a forward assist while keeping your rifle trim. Whether you're building a precision rifle, a competition gun, or a duty-focused platform, this is the kind of detail work that separates a thoughtful build from a generic assembly.
Strike Industries engineered this forward assist with durability in mind—the tool steel pawl engages the ratchets on your bolt carrier with consistent force and resists wear through thousands of rounds. The aluminum construction means you're shedding grams where they don't hurt reliability, so every ounce saved counts on a rifle you'll actually carry. Flat dark earth finish matches most modern AR builds and won't snag on gear or clothing.
If you're upgrading an AR platform or swapping out OEM parts to build your ideal rifle, this forward assist fits seamlessly into the upgrade path. It's the kind of component that flies under the radar until you need it—then you're grateful it's there.
