Strike Industries
Managing cables on a modern tactical rifle shouldn't mean a rats' nest of wire held down with zip ties and duct tape. The Strike Industries M-Lok Cable Management Cover Short is a 1.57" black polymer rail cover designed to route and organize excess cabling from weapon lights, lasers, and other accessories along your handguard. Unlike a simple cover that just sits there, this one features Strike Industries' patent-pending Cable Management System (CMS)—a cavity inside that lets you tuck and guide cables alongside the rail, across it, at 90-degree angles, or in a U-shape. How you route them is up to you.
Made from durable, lightweight polymer, the short cover profile (about 6.20mm high) keeps your rail looking clean and purposeful without adding bulk. The textured surface gives you better grip ergonomics when you need it, and the material helps reduce heat transfer between a hot barrel and your support hand—a thoughtful detail for sustained fire. At 1.57" long, the short version fits tight spots where you need targeted cable management; Strike Industries also offers a longer 3.14" option if you're dealing with more cable runs. Mounting to any M-Lok slot is straightforward, and the low-profile design means it won't snag on your gear or slow you down in the field.
Whether you're building a hunting rifle, a 3-gun gun, or a duty carbine, cable clutter is both unsightly and functionally sloppy. This cover solves it without reinventing the wheel—just solid, practical engineering from a brand that understands what shooters actually need.

Yes. This cover mounts directly to any standard M-Lok slot on your handguard or rail system.
The internal cavity is designed to route and contain the excess cable from weapon lights, lasers, and other cabled accessories. The flexible CMS system lets you organize wire in multiple directions depending on your cable run and preference.
The short 1.57" version comes in a 4-pack, giving you multiple covers for different spots on your rifle or extras for your gun room.
It's both. The textured surface improves your grip and helps mitigate heat transfer from a hot barrel, while the internal CMS cavity handles the cable management job that the supplier description emphasizes.
