The Streamlight TLR RM 2 is a rifle and long gun mounted light built for shooters who need both illumination and target designation in the field. This 1,000-lumen white LED weapon light pairs a tight, focused beam with an integrated red laser, giving you dual targeting options that operate independently. It mounts securely to any MIL Standard 1913 rail via the included Rail Grip Clamp, making it equally at home on a tactical rifle, home-defense carbine, or precision long gun. Whether you're hunting low-light game, running drills at the range, or training for self-defense scenarios, the TLR RM 2 delivers the reach and control serious shooters expect.

What sets the TLR RM 2 apart is its high-candela beam design—engineered to throw light far downrange (297 meters) while maintaining excellent peripheral illumination for situational awareness. The HPL face cap concentrates the output into a tighter hotspot without sacrificing overall brightness, so your target is lit and your surroundings remain visible. You get independent control of the light and laser through a mode toggle, plus dual activation: a push-button on the light itself and a remote pressure switch that exits at 90 degrees, giving you flexible mounting options without eating up rail real estate.

Runtime is solid—the light runs 1.5 hours at full brightness on the included pair of CR123A lithium batteries, while the laser alone lasts 60 hours, letting you grab extended shifts on battery power if you need it. A safe-off feature guards against accidental activation in the pack or holster. The aluminum body is black anodized and IPX4 water-resistant, built tough for field use. Everything you need to get mounted is in the box: the light, remote switch kit, key kit, and batteries.

Frequently Asked Questions

What rails does the TLR RM 2 fit?

The TLR RM 2 mounts to any MIL Standard 1913 Picatinny rail. The Rail Grip Clamp included in the kit secures the light firmly without tools.

Can I use the laser and light at the same time, or separately?

Yes to both. A mode toggle lets you select laser only, light only, or light and laser together. Each has its own push-button and remote switch control, so you can operate them independently.

What's in the box?

The kit includes the TLR RM 2 light, remote pressure switch, key kit, Rail Grip Clamp mount, and two CR123A lithium batteries. Everything you need to mount and run the light is included.

How long will the batteries last?

With light and laser on together, expect 1.5 hours. Running the laser alone extends runtime to 60 hours. Strobe mode runs for 3 hours. Two CR123A lithium batteries are included.
