The Steiner H6Xi 3-18x50mm rifle scope brings serious versatility to long-range hunting and precision shooting. Built around a 30mm main tube and 50mm objective lens, this optic delivers the optical clarity and light transmission you need from open country to tight timber—and the robust construction to handle whatever conditions you throw at it. The 3x-18x magnification range covers everything from close-range follow-ups to extended shots, making it equally at home on a .270 hunting rifle or a precision bolt gun. Steiner engineered the H6Xi with both durability and repeatability in mind, combining the ruggedness of military-grade design with the refinement expected from quality American-made optics.

First focal plane positioning means your Steiner MHR reticle scales with magnification—a real advantage when you're dialing distance or using the reticle for holdover calculations. The quarter-minute MOA adjustment clicks are crisp and repeatable, and you can dial with confidence knowing you're getting true mechanical adjustments. Whether you're glassing from a ridge at high magnification or making a quick shot at moderate power, the optical performance and ease of use remain consistent across the entire zoom range.

This is an optic built for hunters and shooters who refuse to compromise: it doesn't make excuses, and it doesn't need special circumstances to perform. The black finish is durable and discreet, and the overall design is straightforward enough that you'll spend time shooting, not fiddling.

Frequently Asked Questions

What kind of hunting is the Steiner H6Xi 3-18x50mm suited for?

The 3-18x magnification and large 50mm objective make it excellent for hunting at varied distances—from forest hunting where you might use lower magnifications to open-country pursuits that benefit from higher-power glassing and extended-range shots. The first focal plane design means your reticle works for holdovers and ranging at any magnification setting.

Is the H6Xi a first focal plane or second focal plane scope?

The Steiner H6Xi is first focal plane. The Steiner MHR reticle scales proportionally with magnification, so your reticle-based holdover and ranging calculations remain valid whether you're at 3x or 18x power.

What does the 30mm main tube offer compared to a 1-inch scope?

The 30mm main tube provides significantly more adjustment range for elevation and windage, a larger internal diameter for optical glass, and greater structural rigidity. This is especially valuable on rifles with tall bases or when you need substantial elevation adjustment for extreme distance shooting.

What reticle does this scope have?

The Steiner H6Xi 3-18x50mm features the Steiner MHR reticle in the first focal plane, allowing you to use it for holdovers and ranging at any magnification level.
