The Steiner 10x50 M1050 LRF military binoculars combine traditional glass optics with integrated laser rangefinding—a rare pairing that brings precision ranging to serious long-distance glassing. Built for hunters, precision shooters, and tactical users who need both detailed magnification and accurate distance measurement in one instrument, the M1050 cuts out the need to juggle separate rangefinders or spotting scopes when speed and accuracy matter. The 10x magnification and 50mm objective lens deliver a bright, stable image suited to varied light conditions, while the laser rangefinder module adds ballistic planning capability without requiring a separate handheld device.

Steiner's military-grade engineering means this binocular is designed to handle field use. The matte finish minimizes glare and reflection, critical for both hunting and tactical applications. The optics are housed in a package that arrives with practical field accessories—a protective case keeps it safe in the truck or pack, while the included neck strap, shoulder strap, objective cover, and rain guard address real-world deployment. A cleaning cloth is included to maintain optical clarity after use.

Whether you're glassing ridges before a hunt, ranging targets at the shooting range, or running field exercises, the combination of 10x magnification and integrated rangefinding cuts down on gear load and decision-making time. This is a tool built for users who value efficiency and accuracy in equal measure.

Frequently Asked Questions

What makes the laser rangefinder useful for hunting or shooting?

The integrated rangefinder lets you measure distance to your target without putting down the binoculars or deploying a separate device. This streamlines your workflow—glass, range, plan—in one sequence, which saves time and keeps your position stable during critical moments.

Is the M1050 suitable for both hunting and long-range shooting?

Yes. The 10x50 configuration and integrated rangefinding make it versatile for both applications. Hunters use it for glassing and distance measurement before the stalk; shooters use it for target identification and ballistic planning at the range.

What accessories are included?

The M1050 LRF comes with a protective case for storage and transport, a neck strap for carry comfort, a shoulder strap for extended use, an objective cover to protect the front lens, a rain guard to shed moisture, and a cleaning cloth for maintenance.

Does this binocular work in low light?

The 50mm objective lens gathers significant light, which supports use in dawn, dusk, and overcast conditions. The matte finish minimizes internal reflections that can reduce contrast in low light.
