Steel River Knives
The Steel River Knives A163GD Spartan is a 3.50" OTF dagger built for shooters, hunters, and outdoors professionals who want a reliable fixed blade in a compact, deployable package. OTF (out-the-front) knives have long been favored by tactical users and field workers for speed of deployment and intuitive handling in high-stress situations. The Spartan delivers that functionality with a no-nonsense design and materials that won't quit on you in the field.
The blade is 440C stainless steel with a two-tone black and silver finish—practical coloring that resists glare and hides wear. 440C holds an edge reasonably well and is known for corrosion resistance, making it a solid choice for wet environments or extended storage without fussy maintenance. The handle pairs a gray aluminum-zinc alloy frame with carbon fiber inlay, balancing durability and weight while giving you the grip control you need when things get serious.
Whether you're running drills at the range, preparing for a backcountry hunt, or keeping a backup blade in your vehicle, the Spartan OTF is straightforward and effective—no marketing buzz, just a tool that works.
