Spro
The Spro Bronze Eye Frog 60 is a compact hollow-body frog designed for anglers who want a nimble alternative to larger topwater offerings. Built in collaboration with MLF angler Dean Rojas, this half-ounce frog cuts a leaner profile while keeping the attitude that makes frogs deadly in shallow cover. The redesigned body prioritizes solid hookups on the Gamakatsu EWG double hook, so when a bass commits, you're more likely to come tight on the strike. At 60 mm, it casts surprising distance for its size and lands softly enough to fish tight around vegetation, laydowns, and dock pilings where bigger baits would spook fish.
The Nasty Shad colorway is a proven pattern in clear to lightly stained water, matching the natural forage that bass hunt in shallow structure. Hollow-body frogs excel in heavy cover where weedless designs keep you fishing instead of untangling, and the Bronze Eye Frog's compact dimensions make it ideal for anglers working smaller water bodies, creeks, and ponds where oversized topwater gets lost in the landscape.
Whether you're fishing a farm pond, a coastal marsh, or spring vegetation, this frog pairs the proven fundamentals of hollow-body design with a smaller footprint that often produces when bass are keyed on juvenile forage or when cover is thick enough to demand a subtle approach.
