Spike-It Products
The Spike-It Aerosol Dye in Garlic Red is a convenient way to customize soft plastic baits without the mess and hassle of traditional bottled dyes. Unlike basic dip-and-coat options that only stain the surface, this aerosol formulation penetrates into the plastic itself, combining color and scent in one application. The garlic scent compounds the fish-attracting power of your plastics, making it a solid choice for bass, catfish, and other species that respond to scent-enhanced baits.
Working with spray-on dyes keeps your boat, truck, and hands cleaner than pouring liquids—the aerosol delivery system eliminates spills and mess while giving you fine control over coverage. Because the dye and scent soak into the bait rather than sitting on top, you're not constantly reapplying product during a day on the water. A single coat does the work, saving you time and money in the long run.
Red is a proven color for freshwater lures, especially when paired with garlic scent. Whether you're matching a hatch, adding visibility in stained water, or just wanting to refresh tired baits in your tacklebox, this aerosol dye works on soft plastics of all kinds—worms, crawdads, swimbaits, and crappie tubes.

Yes. Unlike surface-only dyes, this formula penetrates the plastic, so the garlic scent is built into the bait rather than simply coating it. This means the scent lasts longer and you don't need to reapply as often.
Spray application is faster, cleaner, and mess-free—no spills on your boat or truck bed. The aerosol also provides more even coverage than pouring or dipping.
