Southern Bloomer
Keeping your rimfire firearms clean and properly maintained starts with the right supplies, and Southern Bloomer 101 cotton cleaning patches for .17 caliber firearms are built for that job. Whether you're running a .17 HMR, .17 WSM, or any other .17 centerfire round through a precision rifle or small-game gun, quality patches make the difference between a quick, efficient cleaning session and frustration. This 200-pack gives you enough patches to cycle through multiple cleaning runs without rationing, so you can focus on making sure your bore stays in top shape.
Southern Bloomer has been trusted in gun shops, police departments, military bases, and serious gun cabinets for decades because their cotton products simply work. Unlike cheaper patches that shed fibers and lint into your barrel, leaving you with more cleanup than you started with, these are virtually lint-free. No strings, no threads—just clean cotton that does its job and gets out of the way. That's exactly what you want when you're working solvent and brushes through a small-caliber bore.
A 200-count box means you're not constantly hunting for more patches mid-session or cutting corners on your maintenance routine. Drop a patch on a standard jag, run it through with your rod and solvent, and move on to the next one without worry. For hunters, target shooters, and anyone who regularly shoots .17 rimfire or centerfire rifles, having this kind of supply on hand means your cleaning kit is ready whenever your gun is.
These patches are sized for .17 caliber firearms, including .17 HMR, .17 WSM, and other .17 centerfire rifles. They work with standard cleaning jags compatible with that bore diameter.
No. Southern Bloomer's cotton knit construction is virtually lint-free and leaves no strings or threads, so your barrel stays clean during the cleaning process itself.
That depends on your cleaning routine and how many passes you make per session, but 200 patches provides a substantial supply for regular maintenance without running out quickly.
Yes. Cotton patches work with standard gun cleaning solvents and oils. The material is durable enough to handle the chemicals and friction of a cleaning rod without falling apart.
