The Sons of Liberty Gun Works SOLGW .750 V2 gas block is a precision-engineered AR-15 component built for shooters who demand reliability without compromise. Made from 4140 heat-treated steel, this gas block matches the thermal characteristics of quality CrMoV barrels, ensuring consistent performance across extended shooting sessions. Whether you're building a new rifle, upgrading an existing platform, or fine-tuning a competition gun, the V2's straightforward design and robust construction make it a go-to choice for AR builders who understand that a solid gas system is the foundation of a reliable rifle.

What sets the SOLGW V2 apart is attention to detail in all the right places. The design sits directly on the gas journal shoulder of your barrel—a feature that eliminates the handguard cap gap common in older gas blocks—for a more secure, repeatable fit. Knurled set screws bite into dimpled barrel surfaces with confidence, and the block is drilled and ready to accept a roll pin for permanent installation if your build calls for it. This is a gas block that works with proven AR-15 architecture, not against it.

Sons of Liberty built the V2 to be simple, effective, and affordable—no gimmicks, no over-engineering. It's the kind of part that lets your rifle's accuracy and reliability shine through without drawing attention to itself, which is exactly what a good gas block should do.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the SOLGW .750 V2 gas block compatible with my AR-15 barrel?

The V2 is designed for .750" diameter gas blocks commonly used on mid-length and carbine-length gas systems. Verify your barrel's gas block journal diameter before ordering to ensure proper fit.

What does "drilled and ready to be pinned" mean?

The gas block comes pre-drilled to accept a standard roll pin, allowing you to permanently secure it to the barrel if desired. Pinning is optional; many shooters rely on the knurled set screws alone.

Can I install this gas block myself?

Yes. Alignment on the gas journal, tightening the knurled set screws into your dimpled barrel, and optionally driving a roll pin through the drilled hole are all straightforward tasks for anyone comfortable basic AR-15 assembly. A properly dimpled barrel is necessary for secure set screw grip.

What's included with the gas block?

The V2 comes with knurled set screws ready for installation. A roll pin is not included but is a common hardware store item if you choose to pin the block.
