Smith & Wesson
The Smith & Wesson Shield/Shield Plus 9mm slide assembly is a drop-in optic-ready replacement designed for shooters who want to mount a red dot on their compact carry gun without gunsmithing. This black Armornite slide comes pre-cut for both Shield SMS and Holosun 507K footprints, giving you flexibility in optic selection. It's an ideal upgrade path for Shield owners looking to add a sight for faster, more accurate shooting in low light or at distance—whether you're carrying daily, running drills at the range, or training for tactical scenarios.
The slide assembly retains the original three-dot white sight picture for traditional aiming while your optic mounts sit ready above. Because it's a direct drop-in fit, no custom fitting or gunsmithing is required; strip your barrel from your original slide, install it in this one, and you're ready to run. The Armornite finish is proven to resist corrosion and handle the wear that comes with regular carry and use. A cover plate is included to protect the optic cut if you decide to run iron sights only.
This is a practical solution for Shield and Shield Plus owners who want to go optic-ready without buying a whole new pistol. Whether you're upgrading for concealed carry, sport shooting, or just want a more modern sight picture, this assembly keeps your investment in your existing platform while opening up new capability.
