The SilencerCo AC4740 Charlie Direct Thread Mount is a 1/2"-28 TPI steel adapter built to thread your suppressor directly onto a compatible barrel without requiring an external mounting system. If you're running a SilencerCo suppressor on a rifle or handgun with a 1/2"-28 threaded muzzle, this direct thread mount delivers a cleaner, more compact setup than quick-detach alternatives. The steel construction and black finish match SilencerCo's standard build quality, and the direct-thread design keeps overall length to a minimum—a real advantage when you're trying to maintain handling and sight picture on shorter rigs or want the shortest possible package at the muzzle.

Direct threading remains the gold standard for suppressor mounting when your barrel already has the right pitch. You get rock-solid lockup, no rattle, and one fewer moving part to worry about. The Charlie Direct Thread Mount is engineered for SilencerCo's modular suppressor ecosystem, which means you're pairing it with cans designed to work with this exact interface. Whether you're setting up a precision rifle, a tactical carbine, or a handgun, this mount gives you a permanent, streamlined connection.

SilencerCo's direct thread lineup spans multiple calibers and thread pitches to cover the majority of platforms. If your barrel is already cut to 1/2"-28, the Charlie mount is ready to go. No ASR tool, no spring-loaded detent—just thread it on, time-lock it tight, and shoot. It's straightforward, effective, and proven in the field.

Frequently Asked Questions

What suppressors is the AC4740 Charlie Direct Thread Mount compatible with?

The Charlie mount is compatible with multiple SilencerCo suppressors, including the Omega 36M, Hybrid 46M, Chimera 300, Saker 556K, Velos LBP Series, and Charlie MAAD Brake. Check your specific suppressor's documentation to confirm compatibility.

Will this direct thread mount fit my barrel?

The AC4740 is cut for 1/2"-28 TPI. Your barrel must have a 1/2"-28 male thread. If your barrel is threaded to a different pitch, you'll need a different mount size.

How does direct thread compare to a quick-detach mount?

Direct thread mounts shorten overall suppressor length and eliminate any detent or spring mechanism, providing a fixed, rattle-free connection. The trade-off is that removal requires tools and time. Quick-detach mounts (like SilencerCo's ASR system) let you swap suppressors or remove them quickly, but add length to the package.

Is this mount included with SilencerCo suppressors?

Direct thread mounts are typically sold separately from the suppressor itself. Verify what's included with your specific suppressor purchase.
