The SilencerCo AC2627 ASR Muzzle Brake is a single-port brake designed to pair seamlessly with SilencerCo's modular suppressor system. Threaded 5/8"-24 TPI and chambered for .30 caliber rifles, this brake serves as the quick-attach interface between your barrel and any compatible ASR-mount suppressor—letting you run suppressed or unsuppressed without tools or permanent modifications. It's built for shooters who want the flexibility to suppress or shoot unsuppressed on demand, without the hassle of removing a brake that's cemented to the muzzle.

The single-port design works double duty: it reduces felt recoil and muzzle climb during unsuppressed fire, giving you better control and faster follow-up shots. When you thread on a compatible suppressor via the ASR mount system, the brake becomes the mounting interface itself. The ASR system's claim to fame is one-hand operation—attach or detach your suppressor without reaching for wrenches or a vice.

Each brake ships with a shim set and rocksett application compound, so you can get it properly timed and secured to your barrel from the start. The black steel construction is straightforward and durable. If you're already invested in SilencerCo's suppressor ecosystem or considering building out a modular setup, this brake is the foundation that ties it all together—no permanent threading, no compromises.

Frequently Asked Questions

What SilencerCo suppressors work with this ASR muzzle brake?

The AC2627 works with any SilencerCo suppressor equipped with an ASR mount. Depending on the suppressor model, you'll use the appropriate ASR mount (Alpha, Bravo, or Charlie). Refer to your suppressor's documentation or SilencerCo's compatibility chart for your specific model.

Is the ASR muzzle brake permanent or can I remove it?

Unlike a permanent muzzle brake, the ASR brake is the quick-attach interface itself. You can unscrew it from your barrel if needed, though it's typically left in place as your mounting point for suppressors. It's not a permanent modification.

What thread pitch do I need for my rifle?

This brake is 5/8"-24 TPI, the standard thread pitch for most .30 caliber rifles. Always confirm your barrel's thread pitch before ordering—using the wrong thread pitch won't fit or could damage your barrel.

What comes in the box?

The brake ships with a shim set for timing adjustment and rocksett compound for securing the brake to your barrel. You'll need to install it on your barrel yourself or have a gunsmith do the work.
