Sightmark
The Sightmark Core Shot A-Spec FMS Reflex Sight is a compact red dot for shooters who want a mid-size platform that splits the difference between ultra-minimal and full-frame designs. Built on an aluminum 6061-T6 housing, this 1x28x18 reflex sight weighs just 4.4 ounces and delivers a 5 MOA red dot reticle with 8 brightness settings plus night vision compatibility. Whether you're running it on an AR platform or any Picatinny rail, the Core Shot's external battery compartment keeps CR2032 battery swaps quick and field-friendly—you're looking at 20 to 1,400 hours of runtime depending on brightness.
Compact reflex sights live and die on durability, and the Core Shot meets that standard. It's shockproof to 4 feet, rated IP55 for water resistance, and engineered to handle the recoil signature of .50 BMG. The optical package includes AR lens coating to minimize glare, and the unlimited eye relief means you can shoot it with any cheek weld or head position. Elevation and windage both offer 100 MOA of adjustment room, so zero work won't be a headache.
The A-Spec FMS designation signals Sightmark's attention to field-tested performance in both recreational and competitive shooting environments. If you're looking for a tough, no-fuss reflex sight that won't slow you down or break the bank, the Core Shot bridges the gap between budget and premium without the bloat.
