Sig Sauer
The SIG Sauer Whiskey4 3-12x44mm SFP riflescope brings clarity and confidence to hunting situations where magnification range matters. Built on decades of SIG's optics heritage, this second focal plane scope delivers a 4:1 zoom ratio in a compact, rugged platform that handles field conditions without flinching. The Hellfire illuminated reticle cuts through low-light hunting windows, while the BDC-1 reticle design keeps holdover calculations straightforward when the moment arrives. Whether you're glassing from a ridge at 3x or dialing up to 12x for a distant shot, the optical clarity stays true across the magnification range.
The Whiskey4's controls are built for hunters who don't have time for overthinking. A removable throw lever speeds up magnification changes, and the locking zero-stop elevation turret eliminates the guesswork of returning to zero. Quarter-MOA adjustments give you precision without unnecessary clicks, while over 80 MOA of elevation and windage travel handles long-range hunting demands and steep angle shots. The 30mm maintube construction means more adjustment range and better light gathering than smaller platforms.
Durability is standard issue here. Argon gas purging keeps internal lens surfaces dry and clear season to season, and the IPX 6 waterproofing rating handles rain, snow, and stream crossings. Flip-back lens covers stay tethered and out of the way. At 23 ounces, the Whiskey4 won't bog down your rifle build, and the diopter adjustment range accommodates different eyesight and varying distances.

The 3x to 12x magnification range gives you a 4:1 zoom ratio, wide enough for close-range hunting situations and tight enough for longer shots. At 3x you get a broad field of view (34.9 feet at 100 yards) for quick target acquisition; at 12x the field narrows to 8.7 feet while magnification helps you read distant wind and angle.
Yes, the Hellfire illuminated reticle runs on a single CR2032 battery, which is standard and easy to find in the field or at any store.
The zero-stop feature prevents the elevation turret from rotating past your original zero point, so you know exactly when you're back at your baseline and can't accidentally dial past it under pressure or in poor light.
Yes. Over 80 MOA of elevation and windage travel, a 30mm maintube, and quarter-MOA adjustments support extended-range hunting. The magnification range and BDC reticle design also help with long-range holdover calculations, though actual capability depends on your rifle and ammunition.
