Sig Sauer
The SIG SAUER Tango DMR 5-30x56 34mm MRAD precision rifle scope is built for shooters who demand serious magnification range without compromise. Whether you're running long-range field work, precision rifle competition, or hunting at extended distances, this scope blends SIG's optical engineering with a robust 34mm maintube and straightforward MRAD adjustment system. The 5–30x magnification swing gives you flexibility from closer working distances to serious distance shooting, and the 56mm objective gathers plenty of light across the entire range.
The multi-lock zero stop elevation dial is a practical feature that prevents accidental rotation past zero, and the illuminated first-focal-plane reticle—calibrated in MRAD—scales with magnification so your holds remain consistent at any zoom level. Low-profile capped windage turrets keep the turret profile compact and protect against snags. You get six illumination settings plus a locking illumination control, which is handy for low-light situations or when you need to dial in a specific brightness without drift. A sunshade and removable throw lever come standard, and the scope weighs just 31 oz—reasonable for a precision optic in this class.
Shockproof, fogproof, and waterproof construction means this scope won't fail you in rough conditions. Eye relief sits at 3.7–3.9 inches, which is tight for high-recoil rifles but workable for most centerfire applications; verify clearance if you're mounting it on a magnum. A single CR2032 battery powers the illumination, and the diopter adjustment range of ±2.5 lets you dial in your eyepiece for a sharp sight picture. The 34mm maintube accepts standard 34mm rings, though you'll need to source those separately.
This is a serious glass for serious shooters—no hype, no unnecessary features, just the elevation travel (30 MRAD), windage travel (15 MRAD), and optical clarity to get hits at distance.
| Magnification | 5–30x |
| Objective Lens Diameter | 56 mm |

| Total Elevation Travel | 30 MRAD |
| Total Windage Travel | 15 MRAD |
| Elevation Travel Per Rotation | 10 MRAD |
| Eye Relief (Low Magnification) | 3.7 inches |
| Eye Relief (High Magnification) | 3.9 inches |
| Field of View @ 100 Yards (Low) | 21 feet |
| Field of View @ 100 Yards (High) | 3.5 feet |
| Diopter Adjustment | ±2.5 |
| Illumination Settings | 6 |
| Battery | CR2032 (1) |
| Weight | 31 oz |
| Objective Lens Outer Diameter | 2.49 inches |
| Rings Included | No |
Yes. The 5–30x magnification range, 30 MRAD elevation travel, and illuminated MRAD reticle are purpose-built for both hunting at distance and precision rifle applications. The FFP reticle maintains consistent holds across the magnification range, which is essential for long-range work.
Rings and a mount are not included. You'll need a separate 34mm ring set and a picatinny or similar mount base that fits your rifle's receiver. Make sure your scope base is appropriate for your firearm platform before purchase.
The Tango DMR uses one CR2032 battery for the illuminated reticle. Battery life depends on which of the six illumination settings you use and how often the scope is active, but CR2032s are widely available and inexpensive.
The scope is shockproof and built for precision centerfire rifles. However, eye relief is 3.7–3.9 inches, which is relatively close. On high-recoil magnums, verify that this eye relief distance works for your shooting position and that your particular rifle's recoil won't create clearance issues with the scope bell or turrets.
