Sig Sauer
The Sig Sauer M400 ROSE is a 5.56 NATO rifle built from the ground up with input from competitive shooter and instructor Lena Miculek to serve shooters of all experience levels—especially those new to the AR platform. This isn't a generic tactical carbine dressed up in marketing language; it's a thoughtfully engineered rifle that prioritizes manageable recoil, intuitive controls, and a platform that grows with you. The 16-inch chrome-moly steel barrel with 1:7 twist rate and mid-length direct impingement system deliver reliable performance whether you're punching paper at 100 yards or pushing farther downrange, while the included SIG Flash Hider-Compensator helps tame muzzle rise.
What sets the M400 ROSE apart is attention to fit and usability. The free-floating 10-inch M-LOK handguard keeps things lightweight and maneuverable without sacrificing accessory mounting flexibility. Ambidextrous safety and magazine release work equally well for left- and right-handed shooters. The 6-position Magpul SL stock lets you dial in length of pull to your frame, and the reduced-angle grip feels natural in the hand. The flat-faced SIG 2-Stage Matchlite Duo trigger is crisp and predictable—ideal for learning proper fundamentals or taking accurate shots under pressure.
The rifle ships ready to use with a ROMEO5 GENII red dot mounted and zeroed, giving you a proven close-to-mid-range optic out of the box. Two 30-round AR-15 magazines, a custom ROSE Savior soft-sided case, and training rounds round out the package. At 7 pounds and 36.5 inches overall (33.25 inches collapsed), the M400 ROSE handles like a rifle designed for people, not just by spec sheet.
