The Sig Sauer Tango-MSR 1-6x24mm rifle scope is a true versatile workhorse designed for hunters, competitive shooters, and tactical practitioners who need to move seamlessly between close-range and mid-distance engagements. Built around a 30mm maintube with a 1-6x magnification range and 24mm objective, this second focal plane scope delivers the optical flexibility demanded by modern rifle shooting across varied terrain and light conditions. The included ALPHA-MSR one-piece aluminum cantilever mount gets you in the fight without additional mounting hassles.
The Tango-MSR's real strength lies in its balance of magnification range and optical clarity. At 1x, the wide 124.8-foot field of view at 100 yards keeps both eyes engaged for fast target acquisition in brush or close quarters. Crank it to 6x and you're looking at a 19.6-foot field of view with enough magnification to press accurate shots at distance. That versatility, paired with low dispersion glass and rugged 30mm tube construction, makes this scope at home on a modern sporting rifle, tactical setup, or general-purpose hunting rifle where range varies shot to shot.
Illumination matters in low light, and the Tango-MSR doesn't skimp. The Hellfire reticle illuminates with 11 brightness levels, powered by a standard CR2032 battery. Dial it down in bright sun to avoid glare, or bring it up when the light gets thin in timber or before dawn. The scope is fully waterproof, shockproof, and fog-proof—you're protected through rain, recoil, and elevation changes. Throw levers are integrated for fast magnification transitions, and lay-flat flip-back covers protect your glass when stowed or slung.
Elevation and windage each travel 100 MOA with 44 MOA per rotation, giving you substantial adjustment range for distance or wind calls. Eye relief sits between 3.74 and 3.93 inches depending on magnification, placing you in a comfortable, repeatable position behind the rifle. The ±2.5 diopter adjustment lets you dial your astigmatism out for crisp reticle presentation.

The Tango-MSR ships with the scope itself, the ALPHA-MSR one-piece aluminum cantilever mount, and lay-flat flip-back lens covers. You'll need a CR2032 battery to power the illuminated reticle—most shooters keep spares on hand.
The Tango-MSR is built on a 30mm maintube, a universal standard that fits modern Picatinny rails. The included ALPHA-MSR mount handles that interface. Rifles ranging from AR-15 modern sporting rifles to bolt-action hunting rifles will work; confirm your rifle's rail is in good condition and Picatinny-compatible.
Yes. The 1-6x range is specifically engineered for situations where range varies unpredictably—from brush hunting where close shots are common, to open terrain where you might need magnification. The wide field of view at 1x is fast for close targets, and 6x gives you enough magnification to place accurate shots at intermediate distances. The 100 MOA of elevation travel supports holdover or turret adjustments as distance increases.
The Hellfire reticle has 11 brightness levels. In bright sunlight, lower settings prevent the reticle from washing out. In dim light—dawn, dusk, or heavy cover—higher settings make the reticle visible. You adjust via the battery-powered illumination control.
