Sig Sauer
The Sig Sauer Romeo-RS Compact is a slide-mounted red dot sight built for shooters who want the speed and accuracy of a reflex optic without the premium price tag. Engineered and assembled in Oregon, this 1x24mm sight pairs a reinforced steel chassis with high-strength polymer housing to deliver durability and strength where it matters most—at the recoil-absorbing mounting interface. The hybrid design keeps weight minimal at 0.75 oz, making it an ideal upgrade for carry pistols and range guns alike.
The optical formula here is straightforward and effective. A molded aspheric glass lens provides a clean sight picture with minimal distortion, and the open-emitter LED delivers eight brightness levels to handle everything from low-light draws to bright outdoor range sessions. Motion-activated illumination (MOTAC) powers the dot only when you move, stretching battery life to a rated 20,000 hours at medium brightness. Side-loading the CR1632 battery is quick and tool-free—no need to unmount the optic or lose your zero.
Mounting and adjustments are built for reliability. The Compact footprint is industry-standard (Shield RMS-c pattern), and Sig engineered the design with steel recoil pins to eliminate lateral shift under fire. Windage and elevation adjustments feature metal inserts for precision and long-term durability. A large side-mounted control button sits proud enough to find without looking, but recessed enough to avoid accidental bumps in the holster.
This is not a red dot for the long-range bench—it's purpose-built for fast-draw pistol work. If you run an optics-ready P365, this sight is engineered to fit and function seamlessly. Backed by Sig Sauer's Infinite Guarantee, the Romeo-RS Compact is a no-nonsense tool for shooters who demand proven performance and American manufacturing.

The Romeo-RS Compact is engineered specifically for optics-ready P365 family pistols. For optics-ready P320, P226, and P229 models, Sig Sauer offers the Romeo-RS Pro instead, which uses a different mounting pattern.
No. The Romeo-RS Compact features a convenient side-load battery tray with a security screw that allows you to replace the CR1632 battery without removing the optic from your pistol or losing zero.
The sight delivers a minimum continuous runtime of 20,000 hours at medium brightness setting with the dot only illuminated. Motion Activated Illumination (MOTAC) extends real-world battery life by powering down when the optic is stationary.
The Romeo-RS Compact uses the industry-standard Compact (Shield RMS-c) footprint and is designed for P365 pistols. The Romeo-RS Pro is engineered for other optics-ready Sig Sauer models like the P320, P226, and P229, which require a different mounting pattern.
