SIERRA BULLETS
The Sierra 1981C MatchKing 7mm 180-grain hollow point boat tail rifle bullet is a precision reloading component built for shooters chasing consistent accuracy at distance. With 500 rounds per box, these bullets are engineered to meet the exacting standards of handloaders and competitive riflemen who demand tight velocity spreads, repeatable ballistics, and reliable performance downrange. The boat tail design and hollow point construction work together to optimize both aerodynamics and terminal performance, making them a natural choice for long-range hunting and match-grade ammunition building.
Sierra's MatchKing line has earned its reputation through meticulous manufacturing tolerances. The 7mm 180-grain configuration delivers the ballistic profile serious reloaders are looking for—whether you're building ammunition for a 7mm Remington Magnum, 7mm PRC, or another magnum-class cartridge. Each bullet is sorted and inspected to ensure consistency from round to round, which translates directly to tighter groups and more predictable trajectory in the field or on the range.
For handloaders focused on match-grade accuracy or long-range hunting loads, these bullets represent a solid foundation. The hollow point tip and boat tail geometry reduce drag and promote stable flight, while the precision-cast construction minimizes variation in weight and profile. If you're already invested in quality brass, primers, and powders, Sierra MatchKing bullets are the logical next step toward ammunition that shoots like it's meant to.

The Sierra 1981C MatchKing 180-grain bullets are designed for 7mm magnum-class cartridges, with particular optimization noted for 7PRC. They will also work in other 7mm magnum and standard-magnum rifle cartridges, but always verify load data for your specific rifle and powder combination before assembling ammunition.
Each box contains 500 Sierra MatchKing 7mm 180-grain bullets, providing plenty of material for developing loads, practice, or hunting ammunition production.
Yes. The boat tail hollow point design and precision construction of Sierra MatchKing bullets make them well-suited for long-range hunting applications where consistent ballistics and accuracy are essential. Always follow appropriate load development practices and verify performance in your specific rifle before field use.
MatchKing bullets are held to tighter manufacturing tolerances than standard bullets. This consistency—in weight, profile, and concentricity—translates to more uniform velocity and ballistics, which is why they are favored by precision shooters, handloaders, and competitive riflemen seeking the best possible accuracy.
