Shooter's Choice
Lead fouling builds up fast in rifle, handgun, and shotgun bores, degrading accuracy and requiring aggressive scrubbing to remove. The Shooter's Choice LRS04 Lead Remover offers a smarter approach: a specialized solvent that chemically dissolves lead deposits without the elbow grease. Formulated with MT-10 metal treatment chemistry, this 4 oz tin works by penetrating beneath lead buildup and lifting it away from bore steel—no prolonged soaking or hard scrubbing needed. Whether you're running high-volume practice sessions or hunting with cast rounds, this lead remover keeps your barrels cleaner and extends the time between deep cleanings.
The compact 4 oz tin fits easily in a range bag or cleaning kit, making it a practical addition to any shooter's maintenance routine. A little goes a long way; you only need enough to soak a patch or brush. Keep in mind that the solvent can damage paint, varnish, and some plastics, so apply it carefully around finished wood and polymer components and avoid contact with external finishes.
For shooters dealing with lead-fouled bores—whether from factory ammo, cast bullets, or high-round-count days at the range—this lead remover simplifies cleanup and helps maintain bore condition without excessive labor. It's particularly useful if you shoot a lot, reload cast bullets, or want to reduce the time spent on tedious bore scrubbing.
