The Seekins Precision Select Adjustable Gas Block is a precision-engineered solution for AR-15 and LR-308 shooters who want to dial in their gas system without swapping parts or wrestling with tools at the range. Unlike fixed blocks, this one lets you tune gas flow with an Allen wrench for initial setup, then switch to tool-less adjustments on the fly—perfect for handloaders, suppressors users, or anyone running ammo that doesn't quite match their original gas tube. The combination of coarse initial tuning and fine-adjustment switching means you get both precision and convenience in one compact package.

Built from tool steel and finished in Melonite coating for corrosion resistance, this block handles the heat and wear of serious shooting. The 40-position fine adjustment range gives you enough granularity to find your sweet spot without the guesswork, whether you're tuning for subsonic rounds, different grain weights, or compensating for fouling as the build ages.

Installation is straightforward—it replaces your stock gas block and uses the same pinning or journal fit as standard blocks on your AR platform. Once locked in, the tool-less gas switch lever lets you adjust on demand without breaking down your rifle, making it ideal for testing loads, transitioning between suppressed and unsuppressed shooting, or simply dialing out excess gas and recoil impulse.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will this work on my AR-15 or LR-308 build?

Yes, the Seekins Select is designed for both AR-15 and LR-308 platforms. Confirm your gas tube diameter and journal fit with your specific build before ordering.

Can I adjust the gas block without tools once it's installed?

Absolutely. You use an Allen wrench for the initial setup to dial in your starting point, then the integrated gas switch lever allows tool-less adjustments on the fly without losing your base setting.

What's the advantage of having 40 positions?

The 40-position fine adjustment range gives you precise control to find the exact gas flow your rifle needs, whether you're running suppressed, shooting handloads, or tuning for minimal recoil. This level of granularity beats fixed blocks and most single-stage adjustable designs.

Is this block corrosion-resistant?

Yes. The Melonite coating on the tool steel provides durable corrosion and wear resistance, holding up well to regular shooting and environmental exposure.
