Scattergun Technology
The Scattergun Technology Remington 870/1100/11-87 5-Shot Performance Package is a straightforward upgrade kit designed for shooters who want reliable feeding and smoother function in their classic Remington shotguns. This package brings together two proven components—a high-visibility follower and a quality spring—to address common wear and bind issues that develop over time. Whether you're running your 870 for hunting, clay shooting, or tactical training, tighter feeding reliability and smoother action cycles make a real difference in the field.
The kit centers on an ABS nylon follower in fluorescent green that won't fatigue or deform the way older plastic followers do. The bright color also makes it easy to track your magazine status at a glance—useful when you're focused on the bird, target, or the scenario ahead. Paired with this is a Wolff spring engineered to eliminate spring bind, the stiction that makes charging feel notchy or sluggish. This spring won't take a permanent set, meaning it maintains consistent pressure and feeding geometry through hundreds of rounds.
Installation is straightforward—no gunsmithing required. The package fits Remington 870, 1100, and 11-87 models, covering the most widely used shotgun platform in North America. If you've noticed your old magazine loading hard or your action binding up, or if you're simply maintaining a reliable shotgun, this kit is a no-fuss way to restore that crisp, smooth function.
