Savage Arms
The Savage B22 is a compact 22 LR bolt-action rifle designed for rimfire shooters who want a lightweight, handy platform for plinking, small-game hunting, and general marksmanship practice. Built on Savage's proven action and paired with an 18-inch carbon-fiber-wrapped stainless barrel, the B22 delivers the accuracy and reliability Savage is known for in a package that won't wear you out during long days afield or at the range. The grey laminate wood thumbhole stock with black spiderweb accents gives it a modern look while keeping weight down at just 5.3 pounds—ideal for young shooters, women, and anyone who values a nimble rifle they can carry all day.
At its heart sits Savage's AccuTrigger, adjustable from 2.5 to 6 pounds, so you can dial in the break that works best for your shooting style. The right-hand bolt cycles smoothly, and a 10-round rotary magazine keeps you fed without fumbling. Threading (1/2x28) opens up suppressor compatibility if you want to run one—perfect for quieter backyard shooting or predator work. The two-piece Weaver base and sling studs mean you can mount optics and sling it up without buying extras.
This is a no-nonsense rimfire for shooters who appreciate fit and finish without the price tag of something exotic. Whether you're setting up a youth rifle, looking for a trainer, or simply want a trim .22 that handles like a grown-up rifle, the B22 delivers honest performance in a package that's easy to live with.
