Savage Arms
The Savage Arms MARK II GL is a left-handed .22 LR rimfire rifle built for shooters who need a reliable, budget-friendly platform for target practice, small-game hunting, or introducing new shooters to marksmanship fundamentals. This sporter-weight rifle combines traditional bolt-action simplicity with affordable pricing—a combination that's hard to beat in the rimfire market. The left-hand configuration makes it an excellent choice for southpaw hunters and shooters tired of struggling with right-handed ergonomics.
Chambered in .22 LR, the MARK II GL delivers mild recoil and low noise compared to centerfire rifles, making it ideal for extended range sessions or hunting where noise discipline matters. The 21-inch barrel and 1:16 twist rate deliver solid velocity and accuracy out of the box, while the 10-round detachable magazine keeps you shooting without constant reloading. At 5.5 pounds, the rifle handles easily whether you're working targets on the bench or carrying it through the field.
The satin blued finish over high-luster wood furniture gives the MARK II GL a classic rimfire rifle look without the premium price tag. The bolt-action design is bulletproof—there's very little to break and even less that needs maintenance. This is the kind of rifle that will still be running 20 years from now, making it an excellent heirloom piece or a solid foundation for a young shooter developing trigger time and fundamentals.
Whether you're zeroing in a new shooting position, developing load knowledge, or just enjoying a day at the range with minimal recoil and maximum fun, the Savage MARK II GL delivers no-nonsense performance in a left-handed package.
