Savage Arms
The Savage 110 Klym is a lightweight, precision bolt-action rifle built for hunters and long-range shooters who refuse to compromise on either performance or pack weight. Chambered in .300 WSM, this rifle pairs a PROOF Research carbon fiber–wrapped stainless steel barrel with Savage's factory-blueprinted action and user-adjustable AccuTrigger to deliver the accuracy and reliability that have made the 110 platform a standby for serious hunters. The Klym's spec sheet reads like a tick-list of features developed specifically to cut ounces without cutting corners: carbon fiber stock, lightweight stainless receiver, fluted bolt, and a modular design that keeps the rifle competitive in weight while maintaining rigidity where it counts.
What sets the Klym apart is attention to detail in the upgrade path. The FBT carbon fiber stock includes an adjustable comb for cheek weld consistency, dual sling studs, and a Magnaswitch system for intuitive accessory attachment. The 24-inch barrel arrives threaded (5/8-24) with an Omniport muzzle brake installed and ready for sound suppression or other muzzle devices. A 20 MOA integrated scope rail comes factory-fitted, giving long-range and magnum shooters a head start on elevation adjustment. The trigger adjusts from 1.5 to 4 pounds, and the three-position tang safety sits where your thumb lives.
At roughly 6 pounds (without optics or magazine), the Klym punches well above its weight class in the field. The .300 WSM delivers the velocity and energy needed for medium to large game at practical hunting distances, while the lightweight profile means you'll actually carry it instead of leaving it at camp. The blackout Cerakote finish on the receiver and bolt resists weather and glint, and the overall footprint of 46.75 inches makes it manageable in vehicles and brush.
This is a rifle for hunters who read their ballistics tables and practice at distance, or shooters building a precision rig that won't wreck their shoulders on long days in the field. If you're after a modern, no-nonsense hunting rifle with serious long-range DNA, the Savage 110 Klym delivers.

Yes. The .300 WSM is a versatile magnum cartridge with plenty of velocity and energy for hunting at distance, and the 20 MOA integrated scope rail gives you extra elevation adjustment room without requiring additional shims. The factory-blueprinted action and adjustable AccuTrigger support precision shooting, and the 24-inch barrel optimizes velocity for this caliber. You'll want to verify your intended use case and distance, but the rifle's design caters to the long-range hunter.
The rifle ships with a detachable 2-round box magazine, the Omniport muzzle brake already installed, the integrated 20 MOA Picatinny scope rail attached, and the carbon fiber FBT stock fully assembled. You'll need to add an optic, ammunition, and a sling to complete your setup.
The barrel is threaded 5/8-24, the standard thread pitch for large-caliber rifle suppressors. The Omniport muzzle brake is removable, allowing you to mount a compatible suppressor or other muzzle device. Ensure any muzzle device you use is rated for the .300 WSM.
At approximately 6 pounds without optics or magazine, the Klym is notably lightweight for a .300 WSM rifle. The carbon fiber barrel, carbon fiber stock, lightweight stainless receiver, and fluted bolt all contribute to that weight savings, making it a practical choice for hunters who cover distance on foot.
