Safariland
The Safariland GLS Pro-Fit Belt Loop/Paddle Holster for FNS 9 & 40 is a right-handed outside-the-waistband option built for shooters who want fast, reliable access without complicated release mechanics. This holster uses Safariland's Grip Lock System (GLS)—a passive retention design that secures your FNS 9mm or .40 S&W automatically when holstered and releases intuitively when you establish your firing grip, no thumb break or awkward manipulation required. The body is molded from SafariSeven, a lightweight nylon blend that won't degrade your gun's finish, shrugs off temperature extremes, and stays easy to clean after a long range session or field use.
The real flexibility here is in the carry options. You get both an injection-molded paddle attachment and a belt loop—swap between them to match your setup, whether you're running strong-side hip carry, appendix, or cross-draw. The belt loop itself adjusts for cant and ride height, so you can dial in comfort without buying multiple holsters. This is practical gear that doesn't pretend to be something it isn't: solid retention, minimal footprint, and honest durability for daily carry or training.
Safariland has earned trust in law enforcement and civilian carry for decades because their holsters just work. This model combines that reliability with the kind of adjustability that keeps you from feeling like you're forcing your gun into a one-size-fits-all box. If you're carrying an FNS and want a holster that handles the job cleanly, this is worth a serious look.

The holster ships with both an injection-molded belt loop and an injection-molded paddle attachment. You can use either depending on your carry preference—swap them without buying a second holster.
The GLS secures your firearm passively when you holster it. To draw, simply establish your normal shooting grip—your middle finger naturally applies the release mechanism, making the draw intuitive and fast without thumb breaks or lever manipulation.
