S.O.G
The S.O.G SOGfari 13" machete is a hardworking fixed-blade tool built for serious brush clearing, camp chores, and backcountry work. With a 13-inch 3Cr13 stainless steel blade topped by a full-length saw spine, this machete handles both chopping and cutting tasks without requiring two separate tools—a practical advantage when you're hiking, camping, or working in remote terrain where every ounce and inch of pack space matters. The blade's black powder-coated finish resists corrosion, while the textured black Kraton handle stays grippy even when wet and won't absorb water like wood or synthetic alternatives.
Weighing just over 13 ounces, the SOGfari strikes a balance between mass enough to deliver effective cutting power and light enough for extended use without fatigue. The lanyard hole lets you tether it securely to your pack or belt, reducing the risk of loss in tall grass or dense vegetation. Every machete ships with a ballistic nylon sheath featuring a belt loop and hook-and-loop closure, so you can deploy it fast and stow it safely when the job's done.
Whether you're clearing a trail, processing firewood, or tackling general camp work, the combination of straight edge and serrated spine gives you versatility without compromise. The 52–53 Rc hardness holds an edge through real work while remaining tough enough to handle the inevitable abuse that comes with outdoor use.
