The Rugged Suppressor OF002 Fixed Mount is a 1/2"-36 TPI threaded adapter engineered for shooters running fixed-barrel carbines and subguns who want to run a suppressor without a booster system. If you're working with an Obsidian 45/9 or similar suppressor on a platform where the barrel won't cycle a spring-loaded booster, this fixed mount replaces that assembly and gives you a direct, rigid connection to your suppressor. It's a straightforward solution for systems where simplicity and reliability matter more than semi-auto recoil management.

The black anodized finish handles the elements without fuss, and the 1/2"-36 thread pitch is a common standard on carbine-length barrels. This is the kind of accessory that disappears into your setup—you install it once, thread on your can, and get to work. No complexity, no spring mechanisms to maintain or troubleshoot. For dedicated fixed-barrel platforms, especially those optimized for suppressed fire, it's a no-nonsense choice.

Rugged Suppressor built this piece for the shooter who doesn't need a booster, and that directness is exactly what you want when your barrel isn't moving anyway. Whether you're running a dedicated suppressed rifle, a .45 ACP subgun, or any fixed-barrel setup in the Obsidian line, this adapter handles the job cleanly.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will this fixed mount work with my Obsidian 45/9 suppressor?

Yes, the OF002 is designed as a direct replacement for the booster system in the Obsidian 45/9, allowing you to mount it on a fixed-barrel platform without a booster assembly.

What does 1/2"-36 TPI mean, and how do I know if my barrel is compatible?

1/2"-36 TPI refers to the thread size and pitch—1/2 inch diameter with 36 threads per inch. This is a common suppressor thread pitch on many carbine and subgun barrels. Check your barrel's threading specifications to confirm compatibility before purchasing.

What's the difference between this fixed mount and a booster system?

A booster system uses spring-loaded movement to operate suppressor internals on semi-automatic platforms. A fixed mount is a rigid, stationary adapter for barrels that don't cycle or where booster functionality isn't needed. This simplifies the setup and eliminates moving parts.
