Rugged Rare
The Rugged Rare Skylar is a concealed carry purse backpack designed for women who need serious everyday carry capacity without sacrificing style. Built from pebbled vegan leather, this hybrid bag bridges the gap between a traditional handbag and a functional tactical pack—giving you the option to wear it as a crossbody sling, over-the-shoulder bag, or convertible backpack depending on your situation. Whether you're running errands, heading to the range, or navigating daily life while armed, the Skylar keeps your essentials organized and your firearm secure and accessible.
What sets the Skylar apart is its purpose-built concealed carry compartment. The dedicated CCW pocket is padded and lined with velcro on one side, paired with a matching holster that also features velcro backing. This dual-velcro system lets you customize your holster placement inside the pocket for maximum comfort and draw consistency—no generic compromise. The main compartment is spacious enough for tablets and daily carry items, while a front zippered pocket and interior zippered pocket with logo patch keep smaller essentials secure and separated.
The shoulder strap is fully adjustable (23" to 42") and works with detachable hooks and back rings, so you can wear it from either side or transition between carry styles in seconds. The pebbled vegan leather finish handles daily wear while maintaining a professional aesthetic that works in or out of the gun store. This is a working bag for women who carry—built with the same intentionality we bring to every piece of gear.
