The Ruger Security-9 17-round 9mm magazine is a genuine factory OEM magazine built to the same exacting standards as your pistol. If you run a Security-9 and want reliable, high-capacity backup magazines or spares for the range and duty rotation, this is the real deal—not an aftermarket clone. The blued finish matches your gun's aesthetic and offers the same corrosion resistance you expect from Ruger's manufacturing.

This 17-round magazine ships with a flush-fit floorplate already installed, which gives you a sleek profile that doesn't print or snag when carrying. The box includes an adapter, making it compatible with the standard Security-9 frame. The magazine is also compatible with the Ruger PC Carbine when equipped with the SR9/Security-9 Magazine Well Insert, so if you're building a matched pistol-and-carbine system, you can share ammunition capacity across platforms.

One thing to note: this magazine isn't recommended for Security-9 Compact models, and it won't function in the older SR9 or SR9c pistols—it's purpose-built for the modern Security-9 platform. For Security-9 owners, that platform-specific design is a strength: Ruger engineered these magazines for perfect feeding and reliability in your gun, and decades of shooter feedback proves that factory OEM magazines outlast and outperform questionable third-party options.
