Ruger
A Ruger 90013 AR magazine in .223 Remington is a factory-built, reliable feeding solution for modern sporting rifle builds and shooters who demand confidence in their ammunition management. Built to Ruger's standard for dependable performance, this 20-round magazine fits AR platform rifles chambered in .223 Rem and pairs steel construction with a nickel finish to handle both range sessions and field use.
The 20-round capacity strikes a practical balance between ammunition availability and reduced magazine footprint—ideal for shooters who want more rounds on hand than a 10-round mag but prefer the handling and concealment advantages of a shorter profile than 30-round alternatives. Whether you're working through a defensive rifle course, stocking a hunting rifle, or building out a modular AR system, a solid factory magazine from the gun's manufacturer removes guesswork from compatibility.
Ruger factory magazines are engineered to feed reliably with minimal maintenance across thousands of rounds. The heat-treated spring wire maintains consistent pressure, and the steel body withstands impacts and rough handling in the field or at the bench. The nickel finish resists corrosion and makes magazines easy to spot in a gear bag or range bag.

Yes. The Ruger 90013 is designed to fit AR platform rifles chambered in .223 Remington. AR magazines follow STANAG dimensions, so this should work with any standard .223 Rem AR receiver. If you have a proprietary or non-standard platform, verify compatibility before purchase.
A 20-round magazine weighs less, sits lower in the magazine well for better handling and concealment, and reduces overall rifle profile. If you need higher capacity for extended shooting, a 30-round is a better choice; if you want a lighter, lower-profile setup for hunting or defensive work, the 20-round is a solid option.
Steel magazines are low-maintenance. Periodically unload and inspect for dirt or debris. The nickel finish resists corrosion, but if stored in humid conditions or after use in wet weather, wipe it dry. Replace the magazine if the body is dented or the spring becomes weak and no longer feeds reliably.
