Rocky Mountain
The Rocky Mountain Little Big Mouth Bugle Tube is a compact elk hunting call engineered to deliver full-sized bugle volume without the pack weight. At just 9 ounces, this aluminum tube fits easily into your hunting pack, making it an ideal choice for backcountry elk season when every ounce matters. The all-aluminum construction produces sharp, penetrating bugle notes that carry across steep terrain—all with significantly less weight and bulk than traditional full-size tubes.
The Little Big Mouth uses Rocky Mountain's V.E.T.T. system mouthpiece, which features a 1½-inch mouth opening paired with a narrow throat design. This combination demands less air volume from the caller while maintaining optimal back pressure for crisp, controlled bugles. Whether you're working bulls at distance or calling in close quarters, the geometry lets you generate serious volume without exhausting yourself on the mountain. The included water-resistant padded cover serves double duty: it dampens unwanted noise while you're hiking to your calling position, and it insulates your hands from cold aluminum on those chilly early-season mornings and late afternoons.
This tube works with standard mouth diaphragm elk calls—no batteries, no electronics, just the fundamental tool for cutting through the wilderness and reaching bulls where they live. If you've been hesitant about carrying a traditional bugle because of weight and size, the Little Big Mouth bridges that gap without sacrificing the acoustic punch you need to be effective.

The all-aluminum construction and the V.E.T.T. system mouthpiece work together to maximize acoustic efficiency. The narrow throat design creates optimal back pressure, letting you generate crisp, loud bugles without needing a larger tube.
The cover serves two purposes: it dampens unwanted noise when you're moving to a calling position, and it keeps your hands off cold aluminum during fall hunting. Both features matter in the field.
Yes. At 9 ounces, it's specifically designed for hunters who need to minimize pack weight while maintaining acoustic performance in remote terrain.
