Rock Island Armory
The Rock Island Meriva 3-1 is a versatile pump-action shotgun built around genuine flexibility. This 12-gauge features interchangeable barrels—an 18.5" cylinder bore for tight handling and a 28" vent rib option for sport shooting—so you're not locked into a single mission. Swap barrels and stocks to move from home defense to the range without buying another gun. It's the kind of practical, no-nonsense design that appeals to shooters who value adaptability over marketing hype.
Capacity runs 4+1 rounds, and the gun weighs just over 6 pounds unloaded, keeping it manageable for extended shooting sessions or defensive readiness. The marine chrome receiver resists corrosion, a real asset if you're working in challenging weather. Sights are straightforward—a front bead and receiver serration for a clean, traditional sight picture. The polymer stock is durable and won't swell or warp, and the included choke options (slug full, modified, and improved cylinder) give you flexibility to load the round that fits the job.
This is a shotgun built for shooters who want genuine utility without paying for features they'll never use. Whether you're setting up for tactical training, hunting, or sport clay work, the Meriva 3-1's modular approach means one gun can serve multiple roles. It's straightforward to operate, reliable, and priced for folks who understand that versatility beats specialization.

Yes. The 18.5" cylinder bore barrel is built for close-quarters defense work, while the 28" vent rib barrel with choke options suits sport shooting and hunting. Swap barrels and stocks to match your mission—that's the whole point of the three-in-one design.
Marine chrome is applied to resist corrosion in wet and harsh conditions. Standard shotgun maintenance—routine cleaning and light oiling—will keep it in good shape. The chromium plating is more corrosion-resistant than bare steel, which is why it's used on firearms built for field work.
Polymer stocks resist moisture and temperature changes far better than wood, so they won't swell, crack, or warp in rain, humidity, or temperature swings. That durability is one reason they're the go-to choice for firearms in variable field conditions.
