Rival Arms
The Rival Arms V1 Spiral Fluted Stainless Steel Barrel for Glock 43/43X 9mm is a precision drop-in replacement built for shooters who want tighter groups and reliable performance without a trip to the gunsmith. Machined from 416R stainless steel billet, this barrel brings match-grade accuracy to a compact carry gun while the spiral fluted design reduces weight and adds visual interest. Whether you're running your 43/43X at the range, in competition, or as a daily carry, a quality aftermarket barrel can improve consistency and durability over time.
Rival Arms finished this barrel with a low-temperature vacuum PVD coating that stands up to moisture, salt, sweat, and the elements—real protection for a gun that might see real use. The target crowned muzzle and 1:10 twist with 6-groove rifling are engineered for 9mm Luger ammunition. Each barrel is hand-inspected before shipment to catch any outliers, so you're getting verified quality, not just mass production.
Installation is straightforward: this is a drop-in replacement, meaning no specialized gunsmithing knowledge required. Field strip your Glock 43 or 43X, swap the barrel, and you're done. It's the kind of upgrade that pays dividends in reliability and accuracy without complications.
| Caliber | 9mm Luger |
| Twist Rate | 1:10 |
| Rifling | 6 groove |
| Material | 416R stainless steel |
| Coating | Low-temperature vacuum PVD |
| Muzzle | Target crowned |
| Compatibility | Glock 43, Glock 43X |
| Installation | Drop-in (no gunsmith required) |
Yes. The Rival Arms V1 is a drop-in replacement barrel designed for both the Glock 43 and Glock 43X. No modifications, fitting, or gunsmith work needed—simply swap it in during a routine field strip.
416R stainless steel offers superior corrosion resistance compared to standard carbon steel, and the vacuum PVD coating adds another layer of protection against rust, wear, and environmental damage. For a carry gun or one exposed to moisture, this translates to longer barrel life and more consistent accuracy over time.
The fluting serves a practical purpose: it removes material from the barrel while maintaining structural integrity, resulting in a lighter barrel. For a compact carry pistol like the 43/43X, that weight savings can make a measurable difference in handling and recoil management.
The 1:10 twist with 6-groove rifling is engineered for standard 9mm Luger ammunition. This is the appropriate twist rate for typical 9mm bullet weights used in both range and carry loads.
