The Rival Arms V1 Spiral Fluted Barrel for Glock 17 Gen 5 is a match-grade drop-in upgrade built for shooters who want better accuracy and reliability out of the box. Machined from 416R stainless steel, this 9mm Luger barrel is engineered to tight tolerances and finished with a low-temperature vacuum PVD coating that stands up to hard use and corrosive environments. The 1/2"-28 threaded muzzle lets you run suppressors or other compatible devices, making it a natural fit for shooters building a versatile duty or home-defense pistol. No gunsmith required—just swap it into your Gen 5 Glock 17 and go to work.

Rival Arms handles each barrel with individual hand inspection to verify accuracy before it ships, and the match-grade rifling (1:10 twist, 6 groove) is designed to deliver the precision you'd expect from a purpose-built component. The spiral fluting isn't just for looks; it reduces weight without sacrificing strength, giving your pistol better pointability and faster target transitions. Whether you're running drills at the range, working defensive scenarios, or just pushing your Glock 17's potential, this barrel raises the baseline performance of an already capable platform.

Built tough and backed by Rival Arms' limited lifetime warranty, the V1 Spiral Fluted Barrel is a straightforward upgrade for anyone running a Glock 17 Gen 5 and serious about the gun they carry.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will this barrel work with my Glock 17 Gen 5?

Yes—the Rival Arms V1 Spiral Fluted Barrel is a drop-in replacement designed specifically for the Glock 17 Gen 5. No gunsmith work is needed; it installs like any factory barrel swap.

Can I run a suppressor on this barrel?

Yes. The muzzle is threaded 1/2"-28, which is standard for 9mm Luger suppressors and muzzle devices. Any 1/2"-28 suppressor or flash hider will work.

What's the difference between this and the stock Glock 17 Gen 5 barrel?

The Rival Arms V1 is a match-grade barrel held to tighter tolerances and hand-inspected for accuracy. The 416R stainless steel and PVD coating offer better corrosion resistance than the standard Glock barrel, and the spiral fluting reduces weight. The target crowned muzzle and optimized rifling support better overall accuracy and reliability.

Is the barrel threaded for suppressors?

Yes, it is threaded 1/2"-28 at the muzzle for use with compatible suppressors, flash hiders, or other muzzle devices.
