The Riton Optics 7 Conquer 3-24x50mm riflescope brings precision and versatility to hunters and long-range shooters who need reliable magnification across a wide range of distances. Built around a robust 34mm main tube and powered by an illuminated G7 reticle, this scope is engineered to perform whether you're glassing a valley at 3x or dialing in a distant target at 24x magnification. The second focal plane design keeps the reticle size consistent across the magnification range, making holdovers and Kentucky windage calls more intuitive than first focal plane alternatives.

Riton's 7 Series represents a middle ground between entry-level and premium glass—quality optics and mechanical reliability at a price that doesn't require a second mortgage. The 50mm objective gathers serious light in low-light conditions, giving you usable advantage during dawn and dusk when most serious hunters are actually in the field. The illuminated reticle works when the sun's behind you or the sky is overcast, though it's not so dominant that you can't hunt effectively with it off.

A 34mm tube gives you the mechanical stiffness and adjustment range that matter when you're pushing bullets downrange past 500 yards or holding on steep terrain. Whether you're hunting elk in the high country, reaching out on prairie antelope, or running precision at the range, this scope's versatility and solid optics earn their keep without pretense or unnecessary complexity.

Frequently Asked Questions

What's the difference between second focal plane and first focal plane on a rifle scope?

In second focal plane scopes like this one, the reticle stays the same apparent size no matter what magnification you're running. That means your holdovers and wind holds work the way you learned them—intuitive and consistent. First focal plane reticles grow and shrink with magnification, which some precision shooters prefer but adds complexity. For most hunters mixing ranges and conditions, second focal plane is more forgiving.

Is a 34mm tube scope worth it over a 30mm?

Yes, if you're doing any serious distance work or mounting on rifles with heavy recoil. The larger tube gives you more mechanical adjustment range and greater rigidity, which translates to more repeatable shots and better ability to dial for extreme distances or angles. You'll need Riton rings designed for 34mm, but that's a minor detail.

Will this scope work in low light, and when would I use the illuminated reticle?

The 50mm objective pulls in plenty of light for twilight hunting without relying on reticle illumination. The illuminated reticle shines when the scope is backlit (sun behind you) or when you need a bold sight picture quickly. Leave it off most of the time to save battery and keep your eye uncluttered.

What does the G7 reticle mean?

The G7 is Riton's designator for that particular reticle pattern. We can't speak to its specific subtension or holdover design without the detailed spec sheet, but Riton builds their reticles around practical shooting scenarios.
