The Rise Armament RA-140 Super Sporting flat trigger is a straightforward, reliable upgrade for your AR-platform rifle. Built with S7 tool steel internals and a black nitride finish, this 3.5-pound trigger delivers a clean break and short reset without the take-up found in standard mil-spec triggers. If you shoot AR carbines or rifle-length uppers in common calibers—.223/5.56, .308, 6.5 Creedmoor, 9mm, and others—and want improved control and faster shot placement without breaking the bank, this is the kind of practical upgrade that pays dividends at the range or in the field.

The RA-140's flat trigger blade gives you more mechanical leverage than a curved trigger, which translates to better feel and easier trigger control during precision shooting. The housing is machined from solid 6061 aluminum and anodized for durability—no stamped or punched internals here. Each trigger is individually inspected after precision machining and hand-tuning, so you're getting a level of quality control that outpaces typical mass-produced triggers.

Installation is elementary: no set screws to fuss with, and the package includes free anti-walk pins to keep everything secured in the lower receiver. If you prefer a curved trigger blade instead, Rise offers that same quality in a separate model. Whether you're running a match rifle, a hunting platform, or a general-purpose AR, the RA-140 is an honest, no-nonsense trigger that works.
