Rise Armament
The Rise Armament Enhanced Takedown and Pivot Pins upgrade your AR-15 with controls designed for real-world use. Built from 316 stainless steel and finished in black nitride, these pins give you dependable durability while cutting friction from field-stripping your rifle. Whether you're breaking down your upper and lower in the cold, running a carbine course, or just maintaining your setup, the ergonomic design makes each pin push and pull faster and more intuitive than stock hardware.
The concave and contoured face on each pin locks your thumb or finger into place naturally, and the geometry works even when you're wearing gloves or heavy glove liners—no fumbling, no dropped pins. On the left side, a small cavity lets you tap the pins out quickly with the tip of a punch, bullet, or even a pen. It's a small detail that saves time across hundreds of strip cycles, which adds up fast if you shoot regularly.
Rise Armament machines these pins in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, and backs them with a Lifetime Warranty. The takedown pin carries a lasered RISE Armament logo. If you swap uppers often, run competition, or just value faster AR maintenance, this is a straightforward upgrade that pays dividends.
