Rifle Basix
A quality trigger is one of the best upgrades a precision rifle shooter can make, and the Rifle Basix adjustable trigger for Remington 700 puts control squarely in your hands. This fully adjustable trigger kit lets you dial in the exact weight of pull, let-off, and overtravel that matches your shooting discipline—whether you're working up loads at the bench, competing, or hunting. The adjustable range from 8 ounces to 1.5 pounds covers everything from feather-light target work to field-safe hunting weights.
The trigger shoe itself is factory-width at .330 inch, with vertical grooves machined into the face for a secure, consistent finger hold. The CNC-machined aluminum housing is where this trigger earns its reputation: precision billet construction reduces internal drag and creates a smooth, predictable pull without grit or creep. Installation is straightforward for anyone comfortable working on their own rifle, and the design retains your factory Remington safety lever and bolt release, so you keep the controls you're used to.
Built for Remington 700, 40X, and pre-2006 Model Seven rifles, this is a serious upgrade for shooters who demand precision and repeatability. Whether you're fine-tuning a long-range rifle, setting up a competition gun, or just tired of a heavy, unpredictable factory trigger, the Rifle Basix delivers the adjustability and quality that translates to tighter groups and more confident shooting.

That's a matter of personal preference and application. Start with what feels natural and adjust from there.
