Remington
The Remington Core-Lokt 45-70 Government 300-grain Tipped ammunition is purpose-built for lever-action rifle hunters who demand proven, reliable terminal performance on big game. Remington's Core-Lokt line has anchored itself in American hunting for over 80 years, and this new tipped variant honors that legacy while addressing what modern lever-gun shooters actually need: consistent expansion, reliable function in tubular magazines, and the clean, predictable ballistics that turn hunting opportunities into success.
What sets this 45-70 Gov load apart is its design specificity. The green polymer tip doesn't just improve aerodynamics—it's engineered to initiate rapid bullet expansion while maintaining the integrity that makes the classic Core-Lokt design work in lever actions, where magazine length and feeding geometry demand ammunition that performs flawlessly every time. The 300-grain projectile delivers the heavy-hitting energy you expect from the cartridge, and the propellant selection balances clean burning with accuracy, eliminating the guesswork that comes with reloading or cobbling together hand-me-down loads.
Whether you're hunting elk, moose, or large herd animals across varied terrain, this ammunition gives you confidence in a rifle platform you already trust. Comes packaged as 20 rounds per box, 10 boxes per case, so you can keep your lever gun properly fed for the season and beyond.
