Remington
The Remington 870 Tactical 12ga pump-action shotgun is built on a platform that's proven itself in the field and at the range for decades. With an 18.5" barrel, this short-sighted powerhouse is nimble enough for tight spaces—making it a solid choice for home defense, tactical training, or hunting in brushy terrain where a longer gun would be a liability. The 12-gauge chamber accepts both 2¾" and 3" shells, giving you flexibility in your ammunition selection without requiring a gun change. Black synthetic furniture keeps weight down and maintenance simple, and the pistol-grip stock helps manage recoil while keeping your grip hand high for faster target reacquisition.
Pump-action shotguns reward practice and familiarity; the 870 platform is ubiquitous enough that you'll find parts, ammunition, and aftermarket support everywhere. Six rounds in the tube plus one in the chamber means you're carrying eight total before a reload—more than enough for most applications. The cylinder bore choke comes wide open for spreads that pattern reliably at typical defensive and hunting ranges. A simple bead sight gives you a clean sight picture without the weight or complexity of optics if that's not your style.
Whether you're setting up a home-defense battery, working through shotgun fundamentals at the range, or hunting close-cover game, the 870 Tactical delivers the reliability and ergonomics that make it a working tool, not a safe queen. It's a gun built to be used.

Yes. The 3" chamber accepts both 2¾" and 3" shells, so you can load to the cartridge length that suits your application or what you have on hand.
The tube holds six rounds, and you can chamber one more for a total of seven rounds ready to go before reloading.
The 18.5" barrel and pump action make it compact enough for indoor use while still giving you the stopping power and capacity of a shotgun. Many choose this platform precisely for that role.
Cylinder bore is the most open choke available—it delivers a wide, fast-opening shot pattern. At typical defensive and hunting ranges, you'll get reliable patterns without the pellet clumping or holes that tighter chokes produce.
