The Remington 870 Fieldmaster 20ga pump action shotgun is a no-frills, hard-working 20-gauge built on the proven platform that's dominated American shotgun sports for over 60 years. With its 21-inch barrel and black synthetic stock, this compact pump brings genuine reliability and smooth handling to upland hunters, clay shooters, and anyone who values a dependable workhorse over cosmetics. The 870 Fieldmaster delivers the quality and precision of Remington's legendary pump action design at a more accessible price point—the same steel receiver and twin action bars that have earned the 870 its reputation, now dressed for the field rather than the safe.

This 20-gauge accepts both 2¾-inch and 3-inch shells, giving you flexibility in your ammunition choices for different game and shooting scenarios. The receiver is drilled and tapped for scope mounting if you want to add optics for slug hunting or longer-range work. You'll get Remington's improved twin action bars that cycle smoothly without binding or twisting, keeping your second and third shots fast and reliable when it counts. The black synthetic furniture and non-reflective matte metalwork won't catch the sun, and the new Fieldmaster finish on the barrel and receiver resists rust better than traditional bluing—real protection for a gun that's going to see real hunting conditions.

Out of the box, you're equipped to hunt right away. The package includes three flush-fitting Rem Choke tubes (Improved Cylinder, Modified, and Full), a cable lock, magazine plug, and choke tube wrench. The 20-gauge compact model comes with a length-of-pull adjustment kit, so you can fit the gun to your frame or share it with a younger shooter. Whether you're working through timber for ruffed grouse, swinging on ducks, or shooting clay targets, the 870 Fieldmaster's balanced design and proven mechanics make it one of the most versatile shotguns you can own.
