Redding Reloading Equipment
The Redding Premium Series Deluxe 3-Die Set for .204 Ruger combines three essential dies with premium upgrades designed for reloaders who want precision and efficiency in a single package. This deluxe three-die set includes full length sizing, neck sizing, and bullet seating dies—giving you the flexibility to resize cases fully or neck-only depending on your workflow and brass condition. It's built for handloaders serious about .204 Ruger ammunition, whether you're fine-tuning loads for varmint hunting or pushing accuracy at the range.
What sets this Premium Series apart is the inclusion of two significant upgrades across the die set. The full length sizing die features a carbide size button, which reduces friction, minimizes heat buildup, and extends die life compared to standard steel buttons—a meaningful advantage when you're processing volume. The bullet seating die is equipped with a Redding Bullet Seating Micrometer, giving you repeatable, precise control over seating depth to within 0.001 inch. When you're chasing consistency in your handloads, that level of control translates directly to tighter groups and more reliable performance downrange.
Redding built this set around their proven Series A die platform, so you get the quality engineering and tolerances that have made Redding a standard in serious reloading shops for decades. The combination of carbide sizing, micrometer seating, and the dedicated neck die makes this deluxe configuration a thoughtful choice for reloaders who understand that small improvements in case prep and ammunition assembly compound into real-world results.
| Caliber | .204 Ruger |
| Die Count | 3 dies |
| Dies Included | Full length sizing die (carbide button), neck sizing die, bullet seating die (with micrometer) |
| Size Button Material | Carbide (full length sizing die) |
| Seating Die Feature | Bullet Seating Micrometer |
| Series | Premium Series, Deluxe configuration |
The Deluxe set includes a full length sizing die with carbide button, a separate neck sizing die, and a bullet seating die with Redding's Bullet Seating Micrometer. This gives you options: full length sizing for general use or brass from different firearms, and neck sizing for once-fired brass from your own gun when you want to minimize case working.
Carbide resists wear better than steel, runs cooler, and reduces friction during the sizing stroke. Over time, especially if you're reloading volume, this means longer die life and more consistent sizing performance. It's a practical upgrade for anyone serious about their reloading.
The Bullet Seating Micrometer provides repeatable seating depth control to 0.001 inch, allowing you to dial in exact cartridge overall length and achieve consistency lot-to-lot. This precision is valuable for accuracy-critical applications and helps eliminate seating depth as a variable in your handloads.
This set uses Redding's Series A die platform, which is compatible with standard reloading equipment using 7/8"-14 die threads. Confirm your press accepts standard dies before ordering.
