Redding Reloading Equipment
The Redding 6.5mm Grendel bushing full length Type S die gives you both the convenience of full length resizing and the precision neck control that accurate rifle reloading demands. If you're working up loads for your Grendel and want to maintain consistent case concentricity while managing neck tension in a single pass, this die handles both jobs without forcing you to compromise. The interchangeable bushing system lets you fine-tune exactly how much of the case neck gets sized, which matters when you're chasing the accuracy these smaller cartridges are known for.
What sets the Type S design apart is how the bushing self-centers on your case neck, improving concentricity naturally rather than fighting it. The adjustable decapping rod gives you control over bushing position, so you can size only part of the neck length when your loads or brass condition calls for it. You get both a standard size button and a decapping pin retainer in the box, covering your basic setup needs. And if you ever need to strip it down and use it as a body die—remove the bushing and internals—the die adapts to that role too.
For 6.5mm Grendel shooters who care about consistent concentricity and neck control, this Redding full length bushing die is built to keep your brass performing at its best across multiple firings.
| Cartridge | 6.5mm Grendel |
| Die Type | Bushing Full Length Type S |
| Bushing Style | Interchangeable (compatible with Redding bushing neck sizing dies) |
The Type S die ships with both a standard size button and a decapping pin retainer, giving you the core components needed to get started reloading your 6.5mm Grendel brass.
Yes—that's the design advantage of the Type S. The bushing allows you to resize the case neck while the die simultaneously performs full length resizing, all in one pass through the press.
The die uses interchangeable bushings, the same system as Redding's bushing-style neck sizing dies, so you can swap bushings to adjust neck fit as needed for your loads and brass.
The adjustable decapping rod lets you control the bushing position, so you can size only a portion of the neck length when your brass or loads require that approach.
