Redding Reloading Equipment
The Redding 338 Lapua Magnum full length sizing die is the foundation of a consistent reloading operation for one of the most popular magnum cartridges in long-range hunting and competitive shooting. This die sizes the full length of your cases—both neck and body—returning fired brass to uniform dimensions that match your rifle's chamber and feeding requirements. A properly sized case is essential for accurate, reliable performance downrange, whether you're handloading for precision rifle matches or preparing ammunition for extended-range hunts where every round must perform identically.
The Redding die ships with a decapping assembly and expander ball included, giving you everything needed to process fired 338 Lapua Magnum brass in a single tool. The decapping pin removes spent primers safely during the sizing stroke, while the expander ball opens the case neck to the correct diameter for bullet seating. For shooters new to full length sizing or those setting up their first Redding die, we recommend using a headspace gauge to dial in the die's position—this small step pays dividends in case uniformity and seating consistency over hundreds of reloads.
Redding sizing dies are built to exacting tolerances and designed for durability through thousands of reloading cycles. This 338 Lapua die integrates into a standard reloading press and works with Redding's broader lineup of cartridge-specific tools, so you can expand your reloading bench one caliber at a time.
