Redding Reloading Equipment
The Redding 260 Remington 3 Die Set gives reloaders a complete sizing and seating solution for this popular medium-range cartridge. Built from premium alloy steel and machined to exacting tolerances on Hardinge Super-Precision equipment, this three-die set handles full-length sizing, neck sizing, and bullet seating—the core operations needed to produce ammunition that chambers properly in any standard SAAMI-spec 260 Remington rifle. Whether you're loading match rounds for long-range target work or hunting ammunition, Redding's precision dies are built to perform consistently for decades.
Each die is heat-treated in controlled furnaces and hand-polished to ensure smooth operation and reliable repeatability. The set arrives with a convenient die box, a spare decapping pin, a hex wrench for adjustment, and a slot to store your shellholder (sold separately). Before shipment, all dies are ultrasonically cleaned and inspected to confirm they meet Redding's exacting standards. This is the kind of equipment that becomes part of your reloading routine for life.
If you're new to handloading 260 Remington or upgrading from a basic die set, Redding's three-die format is the industry standard. Full-length sizing ensures consistent neck tension and headspace; neck-sizing-only dies let experienced loaders reduce handling and extend brass life; and the standard seating die positions bullets to your exact specifications. Combined, they give you the control and consistency that serious rifle reloaders expect.
| Caliber | 260 Remington |
| Number of Dies | 3 |
| Material | Premium alloy steel |
| Finish | Heat-treated and hand-polished |
| Machining | Hardinge Super-Precision lathes |
Redding dies use standard 7/8-inch-14 thread and fit any press designed for standard rifle dies. Confirm your press accepts three-die sets and that you have or purchase a compatible shellholder (sold separately).
This set is designed exclusively for 260 Remington. Do not use these dies for any other cartridge.
Yes. You'll need a reloading press, a shellholder for 260 Remington (not included), reloading powder, primers, bullets, and 260 Remington brass. The set itself is the die component of a complete reloading kit.
The separate neck sizing die lets you choose between full-length sizing (which sizes the entire case) for maximum consistency, or neck-only sizing (which extends brass life by reducing handling). Most reloaders start with full-length sizing; experienced handloaders often switch to neck sizing after a few loadings.
