Redding Reloading Equipment
The Redding 204 Ruger Bushing Full Length Type S Die gives you a two-in-one reloading solution that's built for precision rifle handloaders who want to resize cases efficiently without sacrificing neck control. If you're working up loads for your 204 Ruger and tired of swapping between a full-length die and a separate neck die, this Type S die collapses both operations into a single, repeatable step at your reloading bench.
The heart of this die is its interchangeable bushing system—the same proven design Redding uses in its dedicated bushing neck dies. The bushing self-centers on your case neck as it sizes, which means you get concentricity that matters when you're chasing tight groups. The adjustable decapping rod is a practical touch: you can dial in exactly how much of the neck gets sized in each pass, giving you control over how aggressively you work your brass. That flexibility is especially valuable if you're trying to extend case life or manage hardening over multiple reloads.
Every die ships with both a standard size button and a decapping pin retainer, so you've got options right out of the box. Here's a smart detail some reloaders overlook: pull the bushing and internals, and this die converts to a body die, which means one tool can do multiple jobs on your bench. It's the kind of thoughtful design that Redding's been known for—engineering that saves space and money without cutting corners on precision.

Yes. The bushings are interchangeable with other Redding bushing-style neck sizing dies, so if you expand your reloading setup later, you're not locked into a single system.
Yes. If you remove the bushing and all internal parts, the Type S die functions as a body die for additional reloading flexibility.
The adjustable rod lets you control how much of the case neck gets sized in each stroke, which is useful for managing brass life and tailoring your sizing approach to your specific loading needs.
